• Mims man killed in crash was driving daughter to camp, co-worker says (news-journalonline.com) — A Mims resident, 41-year-old Brien Moody, was killed in a June 9 crash on State Road 46 in Mims while driving his daughter to summer camp. Florida Highway Patrol says another driver lost control, crossed the center line, and hit Moody’s vehicle head-on. His daughter was hospitalized, and troopers are continuing a traffic homicide investigation. 
• Arrests in Brevard County: June 10, 2026 – Suspects Presumed Innocent Until Proven Guilty (thespacecoastrocket.com) — Brevard County agencies reported dozens of arrests on June 10, including a resident listed at a Fawn Lake Boulevard address in Mims. Charges range from DUI and drug offenses to theft and violent felonies. All individuals named are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
