• Destiny Gonzalez, Orlando mom killed in SR-46 crash, more questions than answers (scallywagandvagabond.com) — A deadly crash on State Road 46 along the stretch between Sanford and Mims killed 24-year-old Orlando mother Destiny Gonzalez, who was walking with her baby in a car seat at about 3 a.m. The infant survived unharmed, while investigators and family members are still trying to understand why she was on that dark, dangerous section of SR-46, long known for serious nighttime crashes.
