• Visit Palatka event brings new energy to downtown, riverfront (palatkadailynews.com) — Palatka’s new Summer Night Lights series is turning the riverfront into a twice-monthly evening destination, with the next event set for June 19 along Riverfront Park and the Boathouse Marina. Organized by Visit Palatka, the series features live music, food and craft vendors, and aims to boost local businesses while drawing visitors to the city and its outdoor attractions.
   

• Palatka man, 32, accused of sex crimes against teen arrested after multi‑county investigation (acenewstoday.com) — Law enforcement say a 32-year-old Palatka resident has been jailed without bond following a multi-county investigation into alleged sexual offenses involving a local teenager. Deputies describe a parent’s report, seized phone evidence, and an arrest warrant served while the suspect was already in custody on unrelated charges. Authorities are withholding all information that could identify the teen.
   

• Youth visit Putnam Supervisor of Elections office for tour and to see voting process (palatkadailynews.com) — Local teens with the new Putnam County Junior Republicans Club recently toured the Supervisor of Elections office in Palatka, met election officials, registered to vote, and tried a mock election. Organizers say the club’s first official meeting is planned for August, with details and sign-ups available online for interested youth and parents.
