2 Deaths At Tampa Home Under Investigation
Officers looking for a person of interest in another case found two people dead inside a Tampa home.
TAMPA, FL — Officers are investigating the deaths of two people found inside a home in the 9400 block of Hunters Pond Drive on Thursday, Tampa police said in a news release.
Officers were trying to locate a person of interest in an unrelated case just after noon when they observed indicators that were consistent with a death inside the residence, police said.
When they went inside, they found two people, a woman and the man who was a person of interest.

Both were “beyond resuscitative efforts” and were pronounced dead at the scene, police said. The department said the deaths appear to be related based on the preliminary investigation. The medical examiner will determine the cause of death.
