• Tavares High School Authorized as an International Baccalaureate Career-related Programme School (lakeandsumterstyle.com) — Tavares families should know that Tavares High School has been officially authorized to offer the International Baccalaureate Career-related Programme, expanding advanced options beyond the existing IB Diploma track. Starting with Culinary Arts, Promotional Design, and Performing Arts pathways, the program is open to 11th and 12th graders, including eligible students from other district high schools. Interested parents and students are urged to contact counselors or visit the school website for details.
