3. West Palm Beach man convicted of murder after body found in dumpster in 2022 (wpbf.com) — A West Palm Beach man has been convicted of first-degree murder in the 2022 killing of Jorge Mobilla Menendez, whose body was found in a dumpster at the Southridge Senior Community. Jurors found 56-year-old Reynaldo Paredes guilty, with sentencing set for November, while his nephew and co-defendant Yoel Paredes faces a separate jury trial in October.
   

4. Liftoff! Rocket engine maker to grow in Palm Beach County (coralspringsflnews.com) — A major rocket engine maker is expanding just west of West Palm Beach, bringing hundreds of high-paying aerospace and manufacturing jobs to Palm Beach County and seeking more local workers. At the same time, Vanderbilt University is moving ahead with plans for a downtown West Palm Beach graduate business campus focused on finance, tech, and space and defense industries, reinforcing the area's growing role in space and defense innovation.
