• Lawsuit Filed Today Challenges Florida Property Tax Amendment (winterparkvoice.com) — Winter Park could lose an estimated $5.6 million a year in homestead property tax revenue starting in 2028 under a statewide amendment now facing a legal challenge. The city attorney briefed commissioners on a lawsuit claiming the ballot language misleads voters about impacts on local services and small businesses. Commissioners may join the suit individually or as a group, but have not yet signaled their positions.
   

• Morse Museum to Build New Pavilion for Educational Programming (orlandomagazine.com) — The Morse Museum in Winter Park will start building a new McKean Pavilion this summer, adding about 3,000 square feet of flexible educational and event space. Designed by Winter Park architects, the project keeps the museum open but will temporarily tighten on-site parking, with visitors directed to Park Place garage and nearby streets. Programs will continue both on campus and at off-site locations during the year-long construction.
