• CCS Transportation Team Elevates Service with Safety Training and New Buses (thecitymenus.com) — Carrollton City Schools has added two new 84-passenger Blue Bird buses and put its drivers through intensive safety simulations with the Georgia Department of Public Safety. Funded by E-SPLOST sales tax dollars, the upgraded fleet includes cameras, three-point seat belts, and navigation tablets, aiming to make daily rides safer and more reliable for Carrollton students. 
• 2 convicted of human trafficking in Carroll County (fox5atlanta.com) — A Carroll County jury has convicted a 57-year-old man on multiple human trafficking and child exploitation charges after Carrollton police found four runaway girls at a local hotel in 2019. Prosecutors say the girls were taken from Bowdon to the defendant's home and exploited over 24 hours; two co-defendants have already pleaded guilty, and sentencing for the main defendant is pending.
