Convicted Rapist Sentenced In Sexual Assault: GA Prosecutors

GA prosecutors say it took a jury 15 minutes to deliberate before finding a man guilty of all charges in connection with a sexual assault.

CARTERSVILLE, GA — A Cartersville man on Tuesday received two life sentences after he was convicted of rape and aggravated sodomy in connection with a sexual assault, the Paulding County District Attorney's Office said.

The sentence placed upon Jason C. Sisson, 44, came after a four-day trial and a 15-minute jury deliberation in February in Bartow County, prosecutors said.

The charges against Sisson originated with Euharlee Police after someone accused him of sexually assaulting her, prosecutors said.
