• UPDATE: Gondola proposal rejected, but Rock City says plans continue (local3news.com) — Rock City's gondola zoning amendment was rejected by Lookout Mountain's city council, but the company still plans to pursue the project, including a new entrance in Chattanooga Valley. Leaders say the gondola could cut thousands of car trips on the mountain, add full-time jobs, and boost tax revenue while they refine plans and address community concerns about traffic, noise, and environmental impact.
