• Lookout Mountain City Council votes no to Rock City's proposed Gondola (wdef.com) — A proposed Rock City gondola that would create a new entrance in Chattanooga Valley has hit a major roadblock after Lookout Mountain's City Council voted against the needed zoning change. The $30–$40 million project aimed to ease Lookout Mountain traffic and add jobs and tax revenue, but Rock City says it will keep planning for future growth and could revisit a proposal later.
