• CPD officers invite community to enjoy 'Custard with a Cop' (wrbl.com) — Columbus Police officers are inviting residents to share frozen custard and conversation at Culver's in Midland Commons on Wednesday, Sept. 30 at 11 a.m. The relaxed meetup aims to build trust with CPD while raising money for Special Olympics Georgia, which supports thousands of athletes with intellectual disabilities statewide. Ten percent of all proceeds from the event will benefit the program.
