The Place featured as charity of the game at Gwinnett Stripers vs. Norfolk Tides

The Place, of Forsyth and Dawson counties, was the featured charity of the evening during the Gwinnett Stripers game. The Place President/CEO Cristy Ferencie threw out the honorary first pitch to Stripers pitcher JR Ritchie. The Place received a portion of select ticket sales from the game.

The Place is a local nonprofit serving Forsyth and Dawson counties, helping individuals and families meet essential needs such as food, clothing, and financial assistance while guiding them toward long-term self-sufficiency through education, workforce training, and holistic support
