• UPDATE: Occupants in north GA small plane crash expected to fully recover (local3news.com) — Two people injured in Sunday’s small plane crash in Dawsonville are now expected to fully recover, according to Dawson County Fire & Emergency Services. The Piper Cherokee Six went down in woods near Elliot Air Field off Georgia SR‑183, drawing a major response from Dawson County deputies and emergency crews. Both occupants were initially in critical condition, and federal investigators are handling the crash review.
