Surveillance footage captured detailed images of the suspect's clothing, beard, tattoo, and actions, and officers are urging anyone who recognizes him to call Officer Guillermo Castillo.

Cat tests positive for rabies, attacks 2 in Norcross, officials say (fox5atlanta.com) — Dalton residents should prepare for helicopter rabies vaccine drops beginning around October 7, when crews will scatter baits across Whitfield County to protect wildlife and reduce human risk. The statewide effort follows a confirmed rabid cat attack in Norcross and will use more than 500,000 oral vaccine baits, with officials urging anyone bitten by suspicious animals to seek immediate medical care and report exposures.
   

4. Georgia Middle Schooler Launches Podcast To Explain The Basics Of Football To Teen Girls (gpb.org) — A Hammond Creek Middle School seventh grader in Dalton has launched a podcast called "SEC Football for Teen Girls" to help newcomers understand the basics of the game.
