Decatur man, Moses Robinson, 67, sentenced to life in cold case rape dating back three decades (ocgnews.com) — A Decatur man has been sentenced to life in prison for a 1990 rape in an unincorporated Decatur apartment complex, after DNA testing from a preserved sexual assault kit linked him to the crime. The conviction follows renewed investigation under Georgia's Sexual Assault Kit Initiative, which helped reconnect prosecutors with the victim and move the cold case forward.
   

4. 2 pounds of cocaine found during I-85 traffic stop in Anderson County: Deputies (wspa.com) — A 59-year-old man from Decatur was arrested in Anderson County, South Carolina, after deputies say a traffic stop on I-85 uncovered more than two pounds of cocaine in his car. He's charged with trafficking 400 grams or more of cocaine and is being held without bond at the Anderson County Detention Center.
