DOUGLASVILLE, GA — Douglasville's Elana Meyers Taylor secured her spot on Team USA for the 2022 Winter Olympics, the U.S. Bobsled and Skeleton Federation announced Monday — marking the bobsledder's fourth time at the Olympics.

Meyers Taylor, 37, clinched the overall two-woman points title for the second time at Sunday's final World Cup event in St. Moritz, Switzerland, according to ESPN. The Lithia Springs High School graduate crossed the finish line with partner Kaysha Love in two minutes, 16.14 seconds for fifth place.

Meyers Taylor will compete as a pilot in the two-woman bobsled at the 2022 Winter Games, which she won silver medals for in the 2014 and 2018 Olympics, according to the Team USA website. She also won the bronze medal for that event in 2010.
