• Eatonton neighbors shocked to find out about proposed data center (13wmaz.com) — A $35 billion data center is being proposed on 543 acres off U.S. 441 in Eatonton, potentially bringing 100 jobs and an estimated $37 million for the county. One longtime neighbor says she and others were never informed and are frustrated by the lack of communication from city officials and project representatives, even as she insists she won’t leave the quiet home she’s built over 30 years.
