• Eastman, Sandersville hospitals awarded federal funding (41nbc.com) — Dorminy Medical Center in Fitzgerald is among 18 rural Georgia hospitals set to receive about $187,500 in new federal funding aimed at keeping essential services open. The money can help retain doctors and nurses and support emergency and inpatient care. The funding comes through a new Rural Hospital Provider Assistance Program championed by Sen. Jon Ossoff.
