• The Pigs & Peaches BBQ Festival in Kennesaw features free concerts on Oct. 16th & 17th (atlantaonthecheap.com) — Kennesaw's signature Pigs & Peaches BBQ Festival returns October 16–17 along Main Street and Depot Park, with free admission and concerts both days. Expect dozens of BBQ vendors, alcohol sales for adults, and a separate VIP Tasting Experience that's cheaper if you buy online in advance, plus headlining performances by Tigirlily Gold and Chayce Beckham Saturday evening.
   

• 28 New Businesses Licensed in Unincorporated Cobb County (cobbcountycourier.com) — Several new businesses serving unincorporated Cobb County are being launched with Kennesaw-based companies among the latest license holders, including gardening, homecare, consulting, and retail services. For Kennesaw residents, this means more nearby options for yard work, health support, creative hobbies, and management consulting, all officially cleared to operate as of mid-September.
