Georgia man, illegal immigrant sentenced for drug trafficking in Anderson County (wspa.com) — A 30-year-old man from Loganville has been sentenced to 25 years in South Carolina after deputies found more than two kilograms of cocaine hidden in a Bluetooth speaker during a 2023 traffic stop. Tried alongside a Jamaican national, the Loganville resident must serve at least 85 percent of the sentence before being eligible for parole, underscoring serious consequences for regional drug trafficking.
