Chik On in Norcross receives a 46% on their recent health inspection (thegeorgiagazette.com) — A Norcross restaurant, Chik On on Jimmy Carter Boulevard, recently received a failing 46 out of 100 on its Sept. 8 health inspection, with numerous violations involving food safety, storage, and sanitation. Inspectors ordered immediate corrections, warned that the permit could be suspended if issues aren't fixed by a follow-up visit by Sept. 18, and scheduled an additional routine inspection within a year.
   

2. Woman recalls escaping World Trade Center from 51st floor on 9/11 (wsbradio.com) — A Norcross woman who survived the World Trade Center attack from the 51st floor now honors 9/11 each year by delivering homemade cookies and thank-you cards to local fire and police stations. She encourages Norcross-area residents to turn the anniversary into a day of gratitude by visiting first responders and personally saying thank you for their service.
