• Man offered bribe after DUI crash (classiccitynews.com) — A Watkinsville resident was recently arrested in Athens after a late-night crash in which police say he rear-ended another vehicle and was charged with DUI. Officers reported he admitted drinking earlier in the evening and declined sobriety tests before being taken to jail and later released on bond.
