• Kennedy Wilson and Shimizu Corporation Partner on 382-Unit Caldwell Multifamily Development in Atlanta Metro Market of Sandy Springs (multifamilybiz.com) — A 382‑unit luxury apartment community called Caldwell is planned for 35 Glenlake Parkway NE, replacing a former UPS office site in Sandy Springs. Backed by Kennedy Wilson and Shimizu Corporation, the $139 million project targets first residents in 2028 and promises extensive amenities, adding much‑needed housing in one of metro Atlanta's tightest rental markets.
   

• Sandy Springs mayor to speak on 'State of the City' Sept. 15 (appenmedia.com) — Sandy Springs residents are invited to hear Mayor Rusty Paul's State of the City address on Tuesday, Sept. 15, at 1 Galambos Way. The lunchtime event, hosted with the Greater Perimeter Chamber, will outline current issues, upcoming plans, and growth challenges, with a limited number of complimentary, no‑meal seats available by advance registration.
   

• City Springs Theatre Company opens season with epic 'Les Misérables' (fox5atlanta.com) — Sandy Springs residents can catch a full production of "Les Misérables" at Byers Theatre in the Sandy Springs Performing Arts Center from Sept. 11–27. City Springs Theatre Company is opening its 2026‑27 season with what it calls its biggest show yet, led by Tony‑winning artistic director and Marietta native Shuler Hensley.
