• New temporary exits opening on SR 400 starting Aug. 29 (roughdraftatlanta.com) — Drivers in Sandy Springs should prepare for new temporary southbound SR 400 exits 5A and 5B opening Aug. 29, replacing the current Exit 5 during construction. GDOT says access to North Springs MARTA, Abernathy Road, and Hammond Drive will remain, but urges motorists in the Sandy Springs segment to slow down, follow new signs, and allow extra travel time as traffic patterns shift. 
• Allen Stone, Nicotine Dolls headlining Blue Stone festival (appenmedia.com) — Sandy Springs is gearing up for the Blue Stone Arts & Music Festival Sept. 25–26 on City Green, featuring headliners Allen Stone and Nicotine Dolls plus tribute bands and local artists. Residents can enjoy a large artist market, kids' activities, sports zone, food trucks, and interactive Squonk + Joy Machine shows, all produced by the city with county support.
• Daniel Hortegas highlights the strength of ATT Sandy Springs during a week of major international challenges (graciemag.com) — American Top Team Sandy Springs is having a breakout week, with its coaches and fighters competing from Las Vegas to Abu Dhabi while representing the gym's training system. Leaders like Daniel Hortegas and Roan "Jucão" Carneiro say the Sandy Springs academy's deep coaching roster and team-first philosophy are driving athletes toward UFC opportunities and international medals.
