Lowcountry Down Syndrome Society Announces July Family Support Meeting and Summer Pool Party

Pool Party is Tuesday, July 28, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the St. Matthews Place Community Pool, 322 St. John's Road in Guyton.

(GUYTON, GA) July 24, 2026, The Lowcountry Down Syndrome Society (LDSS) invites families, caregivers and individuals with Down syndrome to its July Family Support Meeting, featuring a fun-filled summer pool party on Tuesday, July 28, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the St. Matthews Place Community Pool, 322 St. John’s Road in Guyton.

The monthly gathering provides an opportunity for families to connect, build friendships and share resources in a relaxed, welcoming environment while enjoying an evening of summer fun.

Food and drinks will be provided for attendees.

Families planning to attend are asked to RSVP by texting President Candy Bogardus at (912) 663-8573.

“The Family Support Meetings are an important way for our families to connect, encourage one another and celebrate the Down syndrome community,” Bogardus said. “We look forward to welcoming both returning and new families for an evening of fellowship and fun.”
