• Lawsuit claims negligence from Ridgeview Institute following rape case against disabled patient (ledger-enquirer.com) — A Smyrna mental health clinic, Ridgeview Institute on South Cobb Drive, faces a new lawsuit alleging staff failed to report an autistic patient's reported rape by another patient during an April stay. Smyrna police have charged the alleged assailant, and records show more than a dozen sex-related cases tied to the facility since 2025, raising fresh questions about patient safety and oversight.
