• 'It's been just really scary', parents breathe sigh of relief after MLK, Jr. HS lockdown (wsbtv.com) — Students and staff at MLK Jr. High School in Stonecrest spent hours sheltering in place Monday after a reported threat triggered a precautionary lockdown and heavy police response. Authorities later determined there was no credible danger, lifted the lockdown, and canceled all after-school activities while reassuring families that safety protocols worked as designed.
