Main Street Theatre’s production of “Shakespeare in Hollywood” by Ken Ludwig blends Shakespearean fantasy and comedy with a fictionalized account of an actual motion picture production. The year is 1934, and Warner Brothers Studio is filming an adaptation of “A Midsummer Night’s Dream.” Two fictional characters from Shakespeare’s script, Oberon and Puck, transcend time and space to magically appear on set. They interact with the movie’s famous human stars and end up being cast to play themselves in the film. Aided by a powerful "love flower" from their magical forest, Oberon and Puck upend film production with romantic entanglements, chaos and confusion with unpredictable comedic results.

This iconic one-day, 70+ year old celebration includes a parade, live music, crafts &amp; goods vendors, food &amp; beverages, a kid's play zone, a scavenger hunt, and a whole lot of family fun!
Tucker Day opens on Tucker’s Main Street at 9:00am with the parade kicking things off at 10am.Live music, food &amp; beverages, kid’s zone and craft &amp; good vendors will continue throughout the day until 4pm.
Tucker’s small-town charm is welcoming and inviting – like being warmly welcomed at your favorite establishment!Close to the pulse of the city yet grounded in community, it’s a place where growth hasn’t erased connection, “everyone knows your name” and friends and neighbors are always welcome! 
Main Street Tucker Alliance is the non-profit hosting Tucker Day. Proceeds from the event go toward improvements to Main Street and the down-town Tucker area.
