Leaders warn that without more support, popular hands-on animal experiences could be cut, reducing the up-close wildlife encounters many Magic Valley families enjoy.

Twin Falls to build memorial for those affected by In-N-Out shooting (localnews8.com) — Twin Falls officials are moving ahead with a permanent memorial to honor the three people killed and others affected by the Aug. 1 In-N-Out shooting. The city and Twin Falls Community Foundation will work with families, survivors, and first responders on the design, while local donations, boosted by seed money from the Idaho Community Foundation, will fund construction and long-term care.

Man accused of shooting at Twin Falls home considered armed and dangerous (kmvt.com) — Twin Falls police are searching for Anthony Alvarez, accused of firing multiple shots at an occupied home on Trotter Drive after an earlier confrontation. Witnesses say gunfire was exchanged as a vehicle drove away, and investigators now consider Alvarez armed and dangerous following a review of surveillance video and his apparent flight from the area.

Week Five Friday Night Blitz Co-Spotlight Game: Burley vs. Minico (kmvt.com) — High school football fans in Twin Falls can watch the Bruins face crosstown rival Canyon Ridge in a co-spotlight matchup as Great Basin Conference play ramps up.
