67-Year-Old Man Missing In Arlington Heights, Police Ask Public's Help

Silver Search request submitted for man last seen near Volz Park who needs medication and does not speak English.

ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, IL – A search is underway in for a missing man who may be without medication he needs, Arlington Heights police said Tuesday night.

Mahoud Izraren, 67, was last seen around 11:30 a.m. near Volz Park in the area of Euclid Avenue and Northwest Highway, according to police. He was reported missing around 4 p.m.

Police described Izraren as a white man about 5-foot-8 and 160 pounds with black and gray hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing a navy long-sleeve button-up shirt and jeans.

Police believe he is on foot and does not have access to a vehicle or a cell phone. He speaks only Kabyle and has been in the United States for a short time, police said.

Anyone with information is asked to call 911 or the Arlington Heights Police Department at 847-368-5300. Police said a Silver Search request has been submitted through the Illinois State Police.
