• Fire Damages Buffalo Grove Apartment; No Injuries Reported (patch.com) — Residents in a Buffalo Grove apartment building were briefly evacuated Saturday night after a bedroom fire broke out in a first-floor unit on Old Oak Drive. Firefighters quickly knocked down the blaze, confirmed no one was home in the affected apartment, and reported no injuries, allowing other residents to safely return. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
