• Tyrpin sets program 5K record at St. Francis Twilight (herald-review.com subscription) — A collegiate cross country meet at Channahon Community Park brought record-setting performances, including a men's 5K program record for Indiana University Northwest runner Eli Tyrpin. Several IU Northwest women also posted personal or program-best times as both teams opened their 2026 seasons strongly at the St. Francis Twilight in Channahon.
