Man, 64, Shot In Streeterville Stickup Friday Night: Report

CHICAGO, IL — A 64-year-old man was shot during a stickup in Chicago's Streeterville neighborhood, authorities told NBC 5 Chicago.

He was inside a parking garage on East Illinois Street at around 6:30 p.m., when he was approached by two men, one of whom demanded his property, but he refused, and the other opened fire, and they ran away, according to the outlet.

He was shot in his side and taken to an area hospital, where he was reported to be in good condition, the outlet reported.
