DUI Arrest Includes Assault, Resisting Charges: Lake County Blotter

LAKE COUNTY, IL — An Antioch-area woman charged with DUI, assault, obstructing a peace officer and resisting arrest was among those included in the Lake County Sheriff's Office's latest weekly summary.

The Oct. 19-26 report also included arrests involving battery, disorderly conduct and outstanding warrants.

As with any arrest press release, Sheriff John Idleburg reminds the community these are alleged criminal charges, and those named in the release have not yet been convicted. All defendants are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.

DUI, ASSAULT, RESISTING ARREST

Michell A. Moran, 38, of the 26100 block of West Heart O’ Lakes Boulevard, unincorporated Antioch, was arrested Oct. 20, at Route 59 and Beach Grove Road, unincorporated Antioch, and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, obstructing a peace officer, resisting arrest and assault. Moran was released pending trial. A court appearance is scheduled for 8:45 a.m. Nov. 25, in courtroom C207.

DUI

Jerisha J. Coburn, 32, of the 2100 block of Joanna Avenue, Zion, was arrested Oct. 20, at North Lewis and Salem avenues, Zion, and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and driving without insurance. Coburn was released pending trial. A court appearance is scheduled for 8:45 a.m. Nov. 18, in courtroom C207.

Illiana Jade Avila, 22, of the 2500 block of North Stratford Lane, Round Lake Beach, was arrested Oct. 23, at Washington Street and Chesapeake Boulevard, Grayslake, and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol. Avila was released pending trial. A court appearance is scheduled for 8:45 a.m. Nov. 18, in courtroom C207.

Salvador Vasquez-Jimenez, 30, of the 23400 block of North East Road, unincorporated Lake Zurich, was arrested Oct. 24, at Interstate 94 and Half Day Road, unincorporated Lincolnshire, and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and driving without insurance. Vasquez-Jimenez was released pending trial. A court appearance is scheduled for 8:45 a.m. Nov. 27, in courtroom C207.

BATTERY, DISORDERLY CONDUCT

Heather A. Jones, 48, of the 38400 block of North Sixth Avenue, unincorporated Spring Grove, was arrested Oct. 25, on that block and charged with battery and disorderly conduct. Jones was released pending trial. A court appearance is scheduled for 9 a.m. Nov. 19, in courtroom T020.

DOMESTIC BATTERY

Dorothy McGovern, 77, of the 25300 block of West Ivanhoe Road, unincorporated Wauconda, was arrested Oct. 19, on that block and charged with domestic battery. McGovern was released pending trial.

CRIMINAL TRESPASS, DISORDERLY CONDUCT

Jarrell A. Creekmore, 36, of the 5200 block of South Drexel Avenue, Chicago, was arrested Oct. 21, in the 35500 block of North Sheridan Drive, unincorporated Fox Lake, and charged with criminal trespass to property and disorderly conduct. Creekmore was released pending trial. A court appearance is scheduled for 8:45 a.m. Dec. 9, in courtroom C207.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT

Clyde R. Miner, 39, of the 39700 block of Waterloo Drive, Beach Park, was arrested Oct. 22, on that block and charged with disorderly conduct. Miner was released pending trial. A court appearance is scheduled for 8:45 a.m. Nov. 6, in courtroom C207.

Evangelene E. Smith, 69, of the 24800 block of West Crabapple Lane, Ingleside, was arrested Oct. 25, on that block and charged with disorderly conduct. Smith was released pending trial. A court appearance is scheduled for 8:45 a.m. Nov. 11, in courtroom C207.

NO DRIVER’S LICENSE

Any A. Morales Duarte, 19, of the 200 block of Edison Court, Waukegan, was arrested Oct. 19, at Grand Avenue and Emerald Lane, Lindenhurst, and charged with driving without a driver’s license. Morales Duarte was released pending trial, with the case assigned to branch court.

FORGERY WARRANT

A warrant for forgery was obtained Oct. 19, for Kenesha Reed, 36, of the 700 block of West 48th Place, Chicago. The report listed the incident location as the 300 block of Washington Street, Waukegan. Detention and court information were listed as to be determined.

RETAIL THEFT WARRANT

A warrant for retail theft was obtained Oct. 21, for Keymaj V. Hendrix, 18, of the 1200 block of Lincoln Street, North Chicago. The report listed the incident location as the 34400 block of Old Walnut Circle, unincorporated Gurnee. Detention and court information were listed as to be determined.

WARRANT ARRESTS

Manuel Garcia, 40, of the 500 block of Water Street, Waukegan, was arrested Oct. 19, in the 300 block of Washington Street, Waukegan, on a McHenry County warrant involving traffic offenses. Detention and court information were listed as to be determined in McHenry County.

Alan M. Flores, 35, of the 400 block of North Poplar Street, Waukegan, was arrested Oct. 20, in the 200 block of West Water Street, Waukegan, on a DUI warrant. Flores was released pending trial. A court appearance is scheduled for 9 a.m. Nov. 12, in courtroom T110.

Lavon S. Reed, 22, of the 4500 block of West End Avenue, Chicago, was arrested Oct. 20, in the 300 block of Washington Street, Waukegan, on an Indiana theft warrant. Detention and court information were listed as to be determined in Indiana.

Miguel A. Garcia, 19, of the 1100 block of Porter Street, Waukegan, was arrested Oct. 21, in the 24600 block of Milwaukee Avenue, unincorporated Vernon Hills, on a Wisconsin parole violation warrant. Detention and court information were listed as to be determined in Wisconsin.

Luis R. Garcia, 36, of the 1000 block of 15th Street, North Chicago, was arrested Oct. 22, in the 1900 block of Enterprise Court, Libertyville, on a Florida warrant involving theft of a motor vehicle and obtaining a vehicle with intent to defraud. Detention and court information were listed as to be determined in Florida.

Aaron C. Fisher, 45, of the 700 block of East 92nd Place, Chicago, was arrested Oct. 22, in the 300 block of Washington Street, Waukegan, on a warrant for violating an order of protection. Fisher was detained in the Lake County Jail. A court appearance is scheduled for 9 a.m. Oct. 28, in courtroom T712.

Alex R. Jimenez, 24, of the 3400 block of Ann Street, Park City, was arrested Oct. 23, in the 300 block of Washington Street, Waukegan, on a retail theft warrant. Jimenez was released pending trial. A court appearance is scheduled for 9 a.m. Nov. 19, in courtroom T512.
