• 'Abandoned' Gym Trashed During Break-In: Downers Grove Police (patch.com) — Downers Grove police are investigating vandalism at the former LA Fitness and XSport Fitness on Finley Road, where two masked men allegedly trashed the closed gym and its pool while filming themselves. Officers and a fire inspector found paint poured around and into the pool, along with trash cans, a ladder, fire extinguishers and other items thrown into the water as the owner sought repair estimates.
