(patch.com) — Residents in Downers Grove are being alerted after eight heavy spools of copper wiring, worth more than $7,000 total, were reported stolen from a construction site at 844 Warren Ave. Police say the theft likely happened overnight during the weekend of Sept. 11, while crews were away from the future Rec League building that is still under construction.
