The roundup also lists recent sales in Batavia, St. Charles, North Aurora, Campton Hills, and Elburn, offering a snapshot of Tri-Cities real estate trends.

4. Top 10 most expensive homes sold in Kane County, reported Sept. 21-27 (shawlocal.com) — Two Geneva properties made Kane County's top 10 most expensive recent home sales, with houses on Oakwood Drive and Ridge Pointe Drive closing at $688,000 and $650,000. The list, led by a $1.1 million St. Charles sale, offers Geneva homeowners a sense of current upper-tier prices across the county.
