Gusto's Bar Chaos Lands Romeoville Woman, 39, In Will County Jail For 2nd Time: Prosecutors

CREST HILL — Two members of the Crest Hill Police force were attacked or spit upon by an unruly patron inside Gusto's Bar on Crest Hill's Plainfield Road in recent days, according to the criminal complaint filed against 39-year-old Romeoville resident Jacquelyn Delude.

Prosecutors have charged Delude with four crimes of aggravated battery, one count of resisting a peace officer and one count of battery.

Prosecutors did not file a petition seeking deny pretrial release for Delude. According to the criminal complaint, Delude is accused of spitting on Crest Hill officer Henry Tough on April 24, she is also accused of kicking Tough on the body and kicking Officer Andrew Black on or about the groin.

Delude is also accused of attacking a woman inside the Gustos Bar and Grill, 2115 Plainfield Road, striking the woman in the head, charges reflect.

As for the remaining charges, the complaint indicates that Delude refused to put her arms behind her back for Officer Tough.

Delude spent Friday night in the Will County Jail and she was ordered released on Saturday morning by Judge John Pavich, the rotating weekend judge at Will County's Courthouse. Judge Pavich has ordered the Romeoville woman to have no future contact with Gustos Bar in Crest Hill or with the woman she is accused of attacking inside Gustos Bar. Delude comes from the 400 block of South Stonebrook Drive.

Jail logs indicate that Delude spent two days in the Will County Jail in February in connection with a January 2024 battery charge from the Romeoville Police Department.
