JOLIET, IL — Congratulations to the Joliet Central and West High School students who were honored for their Advanced Placement (AP) and National Merit achievement during the October Board of Education meeting.
In 2026, JTHS students earned 1,313 Advanced Placement (AP) exam scores of 3, 4 or 5, the scores many colleges accept for credit. JTHS students also earned 266 more scores of 3 or higher than they did in 2025, which adds up to an estimated $417,090 more in potential savings than the year before.
