Will County deputies say the teen's injuries are not life-threatening, but the case remains under investigation and Sheriff Mike Kelley cautions that such activities can quickly escalate into dangerous confrontations.

More Violent Behavior At McDonald's Restaurant On West Jefferson Street As Joliet Police Make Arrest: Cops (patch.com) — Joliet police arrested a 47-year-old Chicago man after responding late Tuesday night to a reported domestic disturbance at the McDonald's on West Jefferson Street, where a woman showed visible facial injuries. Officers took him into custody without incident, processed him at the Joliet Police Department, and he remained jailed following a SAFE-T Act hearing.

Joliet Losing 1 Starbucks Coffeeshop This Weekend As Part Of Company's Countrywide Downsizing (patch.com) — Joliet coffee drinkers should know the Houbolt Road Starbucks is closing after Saturday as part of a nationwide downsizing, though the newer West Jefferson Street location will remain open.
