• Mayor Brandon Johnson, CDOT, and Lyft Introduce Contract Extension To Expand Divvy, Improve Safety, And Lock in Affordability for Chicago Riders (chicago.gov) — Lakeview riders are set to see more Divvy bikes, scooters, and docks as Chicago expands the system's core service area along the lakefront and freezes annual membership prices. A proposed five-year contract extension with Lyft would add thousands of new devices, tighten parking rules to reduce sidewalk clutter, and introduce new discounts, especially benefiting South and West Side neighborhoods while still improving access for North Side communities like Lakeview.
