K9s for Veterans Chosen as Non-Profit Hero of the Month By Sterk Family Law Group
In recognition of their work to better the lives of our military heroes, K9s for Veterans, Nfp has been chosen by Sterk Family Law Group, P.C. as the Non-Profit Hero of the Month.
This charitable volunteer organization brings hope and healing to those who have defended our nation’s freedom.
K9s for Veterans, Nfp rescues dogs from high-kill shelters and trains them to become service dogs for veterans living with PTSD and/or a TBI.
The program is literally a lifeline for BOTH the dogs and the humans, by saving two lives at the same time.
The rescued dogs are given a second chance at life while providing companionship, support, and stability to the people who served our country.
K9s for Veterans covers the cost of food and basic medical care for the entire life of every single service dog they place. The dogs receive lifelong care, with no financial burden for the veteran or their family.
