Inaugural 'Naperville Possibility Festival' Planned For October (patch.com) — Naperville students and families can look forward to the first-ever Naperville Possibility Festival, coming to Central Park Oct. 10–11 with free activities focused on connection and well-being. High school and college-age participants will join interactive exercises, discussions, and games led by local youth volunteers and supported by KidsMatter, Go Brewing, Alive Center, and Inside Out Club.
   

2. Toddler Takeover Brings 2 Weeks Of Dino Digs, Story Time, Sticker Making, More To DuPage Children's Museum (patch.com) — Families in Naperville can look forward to two weeks of Toddler Takeover at DuPage Children's Museum, running weekdays Sept. 21 through Oct. 2. Little ones can enjoy story time, dino digs, sticker making, and train rides, with local pediatricians leading health-focused story sessions, all included with regular museum admission on Washington Street.
   

3. Naperville Public Library seeking 8% budget increase in 2027 (chicagotribune.com) — Naperville Public Library is proposing an 8% budget increase for 2027, which could add roughly $25 a year to the average household's property tax bill, though the exact impact depends on the full city budget. The plan would fund higher wages, expanded Sunday hours at all three branches, more physical and digital books, and new paid internships for adults with disabilities.
   

4. Let freedom ring: Naperville celebrates American history during Constitution Week (nctv17.org) — Naperville marked Constitution Week with bell-ringing ceremonies at local schools, a mayoral proclamation, and special displays at all three city libraries. Students at Brookdale and Naper Elementary connected classroom lessons to history, while the Millennium Carillon filled downtown Naperville with patriotic music honoring the Constitution's signing.
   

5. Kate Baldwin, Jenn Colella, Nichelle Lewis and More Set for A NIGHT OF BROADWAY (broadwayworld.com) — Naperville residents can look ahead to a star-studded Night of Broadway coming to Hotel Arista in February 2027, featuring Tony and Grammy-nominated performers with a full live orchestra. The benefit gala and concert will raise funds for Illinois Conservatory for the Arts' student programs, offering both high-end gala tickets and more affordable concert-only or livestream options for theater lovers.
