• Townhome project slated for site of rejected data center heads to Planning and Zoning Commission (chicagotribune.com) — A 262-unit Towns at Naper Commons project is headed to Naperville's Planning and Zoning Commission, proposing townhomes and rowhomes on the former data center site at Warrenville and Naperville roads. The developer seeks rezoning, height variances, and other exceptions, with homes priced from about $515,000 to $680,000 and new park-style open spaces planned alongside the existing Naper Commons neighborhood.

• Naperville transportation panel OKs updated bike and pedestrian plan, heads to City Council (chicagotribune.com) — Naperville's Transportation Advisory Board has endorsed a sweeping 20- to 30-year bicycle and pedestrian plan, sending it to the City Council for final approval. With more than 100 proposed projects, from new bike lanes on Gartner Road to a possible off-street downtown trail connection, the plan aims to make it safer and easier for residents of all ages to move around town.
