• Smash-And-Grab Crew Comes Back For Seconds At Previously Targeted Restaurant In Oak Lawn (patch.com) — Oak Lawn residents are on edge after a smash-and-grab crew again targeted La Cocina de Mama on 95th Street, this time using sledgehammers to destroy video gaming machines early Friday morning. Police briefly pursued the fleeing vehicle but ended the chase over safety concerns, and investigators are now working to identify the offenders linked to the repeat burglary.
