League Of Women Voters Host Info Sessions For MVCC Technical Career Program Referendum

PALOS HILLS, IL—On Nov. 3, your ballot will include a bond referendum on enhancing six of the technical career programs at Moraine Valley Community College.

To help voters make an informed decision, the League of Women Voters of Palos Orland Area will host two Saturday information sessions: Oct. 10, at 10 a.m. at the Oak Lawn Public Library, 9427 S. Raymond Ave., and Oct. 24 at 1 p.m., at the Palos Heights Public Library, 12501 S. 71st Ave.

Moraine Valley Community College is also hosting a virtual session is planned for 1 p.m. Sept. 29 at Moraine Valley Public Information Session. Community members will have opportunities to ask questions at all of these sessions.

College representatives will share information about the planned campus improvements and show you how to use a simple tool to calculate the effect, if any, on your property taxes. The college is also hosting information sessions on its campus and a virtual session at 1 p.m. Sept. 29 at Moraine Valley Public Information Virtual Session. Community members will have opportunities to ask questions at all of these sessions.
