• Plainfield Attempted Murder Defendant Moved To Will County Jail After Being Hospitalized For Injuries (patch.com) — Shorewood police were among several local departments assisting Plainfield officers during a tense standoff after a woman and juvenile girl were stabbed in a domestic incident on South Potomac Drive. The 39-year-old suspect, from British Columbia, now faces multiple attempted murder and aggravated battery charges and has been moved from the hospital to the Will County Jail as the case proceeds in court.
