• Winnetka Police Launch Blue Envelope Program For Drivers, Passengers On Autism Spectrum (patch.com) — Winnetka residents on the autism spectrum can now request free Blue Envelopes from the Winnetka Police Department to ease communication and safety during traffic stops and other encounters. The voluntary program, open to anyone who lives, works, or regularly travels through town, lets participants store key documents and communication tips that officers are trained to recognize and respond to appropriately.
