Cops Increase Patrols For Distracted Driving Month In Woodridge
April is Distracted Driving Awareness Month, which means Woodridge police will be out in full force.
WOODRIDGE, IL — This April, the Woodridge Police Department plans to crack down on motorists who are using their phones, texting and engaging in other activities while driving. The safety campaign is part of Distracted Driving Awareness Month.
“Distracted driving puts everyone at risk, and even a quick glance at a phone can have devastating consequences,” Woodridge Police Chief Tom Stefanson said in a statement.
Stefanson added, “During April, officers will be looking for distracted driving violations and reminding motorists to put the phone away and focus on the road.”
