• Fishers Fieldhouse, Meijer, Jeni's and more are coming soon to Fishers (indystar.com) — Fishers residents can expect a wave of new amenities, from the $65 million Fishers Fieldhouse and hundreds of new apartments near the Event Center to a new Meijer grocery, Target, 7 Brew, and Jeff's Bagel Run. Major employers like JD North America are relocating headquarters to Fishers, while the Union at Fishers District and Gray Eagle expansions add restaurants, housing, and entertainment through 2028.
   

• Lynwood Hills sewer project moving forward (youarecurrent.com) — Fishers is moving ahead with a $2.78 million low-pressure sewer project for the Lynnwood Hills neighborhood, replacing aging septic systems for up to 160 lots. Work is expected to start this fall and last about a year, with homeowners paying roughly $10,000 to tap in, spread over 20 years if needed. The city is using a grant and zero-interest loan to finance construction as it annexes the area by 2027.
   

• Indy Fuel Name Christian Horn Assistant Coach (larryinfishers.com) — Fishers hockey fans will see a new face behind the Indy Fuel bench this season as former ECHL forward Christian Horn steps in as assistant coach. Horn, who briefly played for the Fuel in 2019-20, brings recent coaching experience from Utah and Wales to the team now playing its home games at the Fishers Event Center.
